#135 The Bustling Town...
After a long time
the town I lived in
was again bustling with
sounds of rush and speed..
The shops could be seen
with heaps of window shoppers
strolling and stopping
at every glimmering piece
that new they saw..
The food stalls were back
to their favourite spots
offering same old unavoidable taste
with new vigour and toss..
Parking spots were getting full
by noon
and queues could be seen
outside metro like bundled spoons..
The traffic lights were again
starting to feel useful
and pathways were no longer
a playground
only for stray dogs..
This was my view from the
empty foot over bridge
that still remained a secluded place
with almost a hundred steps
and a faulty elevator
no usual move here could be traced..
