I know

the world isn't fair,

no matter how many times

you may feel helpless

or just out of breath

but it does not care..

I know

you are restless.

not just physically, but mentally

drained till the veins

are visible on your forehead..

I know

you are running everyday

just to make your ends meet,

often sleeping

with your eyes wet

and those tired feet..

I know

life seems to auto play

like retiring a day of disgust,

only to wake up for another shoot

just another day

on the same set..

I know

you have to face

every chaos that work creates,

and then your near ones

are unable to understand

your inner state..

I know

the mind gives up

and checks for an escape,

in this rush of things

the reality seems to hurt now

and everything looks fake..
