There is beauty

in the bare barrenness,

if you ever look

through my eyes..

The shape it holds

is a true commitment,

and a mark of strength

within it that lies..

Please do not pull it down

or stare with the eyes of abuse,

it too has a heart

and everything to loose..

Look, look

there at the far end

a bud is shaping up,

maybe it is a start of a season

again it will be less barren

and more dressed up..
